The Easiest way to make butter chicken

How to make easy and delicious Butter Chicken:

Ingredients

  • 1 kg Chicken pieces
  • 4 Tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 tbsp Red Chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  •  3 Green Cardamom
  • 1 tsp Kasoori methi
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Red Deggi Mirch
  • 7-8 Cashew nuts.
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 3 tbsp Amul Cream
  • 3 tbsp Coconut Powder

INSTRUCTIONS

For Chicken:

  • Take chicken pieces, cut in thin strips, wash well and pat dry using paper towel or napkin.
  • Take red chilli powder, garam masala, salt, mustard oil, kasoori methi, add some lemon juice, and pour cream in a deep bowl and mix well.
  • Add chicken pieces, mix well with the marinade, cover and keep for 1 hour.
  • After 1 hour, transfer marinated chicken in a baking tray, drizzle some oil over it and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.

For Masala:

  • Heat up tbsp oil, add chopped tomatoes, sprinkle some salt, mix, cover and cook for 5 to 7 mins on medium heat.
  • Now add tomato masala with cashew nut and grind well to make a very smooth paste.

For Gravy:

  • Heat up 3 tbsp butter, add that masala paste (tomato-cashew), red deggi mirch powder, coconut powder and cook till oil starts to separate from spices.
  • Add baked chicken pieces, kasoori methi, cover and cook for 5 mins on medium heat.
  • Garnish with fresh cream.
